4CB team

Pilots, ground crew, telephonist or planner: whatever their age or sex all the 4CB team have one thing in common. A passion for hot-air balloons. Some team members work fulltime in ballooning while for others it is an almost fulltime hobby.

Our pilots are naturally fully qualified and filled with enthusiasm for their work which they try to bring over in their contact with passengers. The crew members who are responsible for following the flight and delivering passengers safely back to the start site play an important part in our team.

Many are volunteers who want to share their passion and enjoyment with others. To this end we can promise passengers not only a wonderful flight experience but also a chance to really take part in the practical stages of setting up the balloon. Passengers are invited to help with the filling of the balloon as well as the eventual folding and rolling after landing. Our crew try to give a complete rundown of what is to be expected but questions are always welcome!
